Japanese Nagura Slurry Stone

Nagura stones have two purposes, they glazed surfaces and also or creating a slurry for the benefit of very fine sharpening and creating mirror-like finishes to blades. These stones are equal to an 8,000 grit gold stone. Simply work these over the wet surface of a Japanese waterstone to create the slurry.
