Christmas Opening Hours 2024
This year, we will be accepting last orders on 9th December @ 12-noon. Please ensure your ID is supplied at the time of ordering if it is needed/requested. All stocked products will leave on this day. Any special order items will arrive in the New Year, but you will be notified so you can make an informed decision about proceeding.
We will re-open on January 8th 2025, and orders placed during our closed time will begin to leave on, or slightly after this date.
As always, we give our staff a long break over the festive period hence the prolonged period of closure – it’s our treat to them after a busy year. We prefer to promote family time over company profits.
2025 is set to be a big year for us, so please watch out for some major changes during the spring/summer months.
Again, please ensure your ID is supplied at the time of your order to avoid your order being placed on HOLD – especially important if you require your order to be shipped out with our last orders on 9th December.

Shipping and Handling
Here at the Forest School Shop we offer a fast service and pack thousands of products each and every week. On these pages, you will find all of the important delivery details that you will need to select the appropriate delivery service for you.
Forest School Shop shows prices including VAT as standard - the prices outlined in the tables below will show including VAT for ease. You can toggle between different views using the VAT feature (top right hand of the website).
All parcels shall be sent to the address provided at the time of the checkout. If you pay via Paypal, then we will only deliver to the address provided to us by Paypal, so please ensure that it’s current. Any errors in the information supplied to us are at the sole responsibly of the customer.
Orders not placed online may be subject to different postage costs.
Refusal of deliveries and missed deliveries.
By placing an order with us, you are entering into a contract to accept the goods and services we provide. Refused, unwanted, or missed delivery attempts resulting in a return will be refunded to you less the original shipping fee, and a return delivery fee of £10 once the order reaches us. Should your order have originally been sent with free shipping, a refund will be made less £15.99. These costs are to cover the fees and work involved in processing returned orders, and to cover fees passed to us from our carrier. In addition, unwanted/refused deliveries from companies, orgonisations and schools may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Restricted Postcodes / areas
Please also be aware that the following postcodes are considered ‘restricted’, and should your postcode be shown below it may be subject to a manual surcharge or refusal to supply. Due to the difficulties in supplying some areas with age-restricted products or overly large goods, we may need to contact you to arrange an additional shipping and handling fee to supply your order. Please ensure that you supply current contact details so we can easily contact you to discuss options.

* Standard Free Service [Free above £70.00 as an option] - This service is available to all non-restricted UK postcodes and for non-postal surcharge goods - if your postcode is a restricted one, we will need to contact you as there may be a cost involved. Some items (very few) may have a surcharge and do not qualify for free shipping due to size or volumetric weight - this will be displayed under the product in the basket. Parcels are sent by Royal Mail or non-express services. This method sometimes requires a signature or proof of ID upon delivery. This is a no-rush service and LEAVES US WITHIN 7-10 business days (sooner when we're less busy).
